arXiv:2609.17695v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: A large language model (LLM) agent can follow more graph paths without acquiring more independent evidence. GraphEcho tests whether agents mistake these repeated encounters for additional corroboration. The benchmark varies path counts and evidential origins while holding evidence content fixed, and evaluates both judgments and active exploration. Controlled synthetic experiments reveal model-dependent judgment shifts, but redundant supporting paths increase the share of repeated walks across all evaluated frozen agents. Provenance-aware post-training (PAPT) reduces revisits and improves synthetic accuracy, yet covers fewer distinct sources. On scientific claims, it continues to reduce repetition while accuracy declines. These findings expose a gap between efficient exploration and effective evidence use: an agent can learn to stop repeating itself while overlooking information it needs. GraphEcho provides a controlled way to evaluate both what graph agents conclude and whether their exploration reaches distinct evidential sources. Update (2026-09-17): Measuring AI Leadership: Development and Validation of a Multidimensional Measure for AI-Native Organizations. arXiv:2609.17965v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: AI is changing what leaders must judge, explain, learn, and coordinate, yet existing measures do not capture these behaviors at the level needed to study leadership in AI-enabled work. We develop the AI Leadership Battery, which organizes 36 behaviorally specific subdimensions into 11 theory-specified content families. Following established scale-development procedures, the research used deductive item generation; content validation of definitional correspondence and definitional distinctiveness; exploratory factor analysis and item reduction; confirmatory factor analysis in independent samples; and tests of internal consistency reliability, convergent validity, discriminant validity, and criterion-related and incremental validity. Across the development and validation studies, the analyses provided evidence for the Battery's content, multidimensional structure, reliability, and distinction from selected orbiting constructs. The Battery also contributed additional information beyond orbiting constructs Update (2026-09-18): Rapid Shift Toward Pulsed Field Ablation and Precision Risk Stratification in High-Impact Atrial Fibrillation Research . Conventional bibliometrics rely on lifetime citations, obscuring immediate shifts in cardiovascular research paradigms. To track emerging trends in atrial fibrillation management, we performed a comparative bibliometric analysis of the 50 highest-cited original research articles per year in OpenAlex topic T10065 across consecutive 2023 (Class of 2025) and 2024 (Class of 2026) publication cohorts. Articles were ranked using a fixed 18-month post-publication citation window, and extracted concepts were normalized into 719 canonical topics and 32 parent themes using large language model curation. Concept frequency tracking demonstrated a swift technological shift, with pulsed field ablation showing the largest topic frequency increase (+0.08, from 0.30 to 0.38) to become the leading canonical topic in 2024, displacing conventional thermal pulmonary vein isolation (-0.18, 0.40 to 0.22). Simultaneously, stroke prevention focus shifted toward refined predictive modeling, with increases in Risk Stratification and Predictive Models (+0.08, 0.30 Update (2026-09-21): Efficient Benchmarking in Production: A Study of an Evolving LLM Agent. arXiv:2609.21267v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Production LLM agents are evaluated repeatedly as they evolve, but full agent benchmarks are costly to rerun. We study efficient recurring evaluation for a production analytics agent serving tens of thousands of monthly active users and report first-hand deployment experience. Using 574 historical runs of the production benchmark, split chronologically into calibration and held-out periods, we compare random sampling, historical caching, fixed representative subsets, and IRT-based adaptive testing. The results show that multidimensional 2PL adaptive testing achieves the best overall score fidelity: executing 200 questions, 38.5% of a full run, yields 1.03 pp of MAE. We nevertheless deployed difficulty-stratified fixed subsets because of their operational simplicity, and show they transfer without recalibration to five other agent families and remain stable across calibration windows as short as one day. Drawing on this deployment experience, we report practical recommendations for recurring production-agent evaluation.
